Timar Jackson leads the execution of value-added financial solutions for York’s corporate and family office clients, complementary to our core asset management services. His responsibilities cover capital market transaction structuring, asset divestitures, private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and rationalizing asset allocation and ownership structures to manage risk, meet liquidity requirements, and facilitate inter-generational wealth transfers and related client needs. Before joining York, Timar was the Assistant Vice President responsible for originating and structuring corporate capital markets solutions at one of the Caribbean's largest investment banks. He has experience advising and leading the successful execution of deals of varying sizes and complexity in the regional private and public debt and equity capital markets. Timar is a CFA Charterholder and holds a BSc. in Actuarial Science (Hons.) from the University of the West Indies, Mona, an MSc. in Applied Statistics, and an MBA in Finance, Strategy, and Operations, both from the University of Oxford, where he attended as a Rhodes Scholar. Timar also holds an analyst license from the SMV.
